Astigmatism Doesn’t Prevent LASIK Surgery
Dana Carthron recommends LASIK surgery at UAMS: “I had been wearing glasses since I was 4. I could never wear contact lenses and was told my astigmatism prevented me from having LASIK surgery. Not so. After a thorough exam at Jones Eye, I was told I was a candidate for LASIK after all. I had the surgery, and I had 20/20 vision the very next day.”
