Rheumatoid arthritis patient Teddy Jones shares his story of how UAMS treated him for his condition.

After spending four years in a wheelchair, Teddy Jones is now able to walk again. And he was able to feel his wife hold his hand again. Teddy had a severe condition of rheumatoid arthritis. During those four years, he spent his time either in his wheelchair or hospital bed. He said that he was able to do any of the activities outside that he enjoyed doing such as gardening and fishing.

Teddy credits UAMS for his ability to walk again and be able to do the simple acts like getting what he needs out of the cabinets and fishing.
